In compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On the system of engineering and technical support of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine" and according to the orders of the Ministry of Agrarian Police and Food of July 14, 2009 № 488 (registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, October 14 2009, № 958/16974) and of December, 29, 2010 № 875 the Ministry of Agrarian Police and Food together with L.Pohorilyi UkrNDIPVT maintains the State register of technical means for the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine.

The purpose of maintaining the State Register is to create an objective information base on consumer properties of agricultural machinery and equipment.

Information about agricultural machinery that has successfully passed state acceptance tests is entered into the State Register.

The register is maintained in 17 sections, in which equipment is combined according to its functional purpose.

For technical means entered in the State Register, the manufacturer (or supplier) is issued a Registration Certificate.
